Dealer Development Manager (Professional) (m/f)

Job Title: Dealer Development Manager (Professional)

Objective of: Effective management, planning and control of the B2B dealer sales division the Position: including sales to dealers (wholesale function), development of the dealer network and steering of their sales performance. Target-driven planning and management of an attractive product portfolio incl. packaging and pricing.

Reporting to: Country Manager

Span of control: Individual contributor

Type of contract: Regular employment with an initial 6 months’ probationary period

Location: Karcher Inc. Philippines – Sucat Paranaque

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

1. Management of Sales Professional to B2B Dealer Network

  • Expand and develop the dealer network qualitatively and quantitatively following the general business development strategy of Kärcher Philippines in close alignment with the Country Manager Sales Professional (B2B Sales).
  • Support the dealers effectively in expanding sales/ increasing the market share in alignment with Kärcher Philippines’ strategy (steering via target agreement and followup but equally important via training/ coaching, e.g. product knowledge, sales process, sales people steering approaches etc.)
  • In general, as the Key Account Management to the dealer, serve as the one-stop solution provider to the dealer, which includes general information, socialization and feedback collection as well as the follow-up on the dealer’s implementation of Kärcher Philippines’ guidelines and programs (e.g. marketing initiatives, CI/CD guidelines etc.).
  • Further develop and manage a performance steering system for all dealers and ensure the achievement of KPIs.
  • Manage open and constructive partnership relations to the dealer network ensuring a high level of dealer motivation and initiative.
  • Establish a culture of sales service excellence amongst staff and the dealer network in order to achieve benchmark customer satisfaction results.
  • Liaising very closely with the Home & Garden Sales, the Service, the Marketing and the Operations departments to optimize results.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting.

 

2. Product Management and Sales Planning Product Line Professional and Industrial

  • Select and manage an attractive product portfolio for all target groups and ensure a convincing and aggressive product positioning in the ‘Philippines market environment.
  • Establish the Sales Professional team as the center of competence for products and applications of products for all target groups in order to enable an effective exploration of the direct sales potential and a professional dealer support.
  • Develop market exploration strategies for all product segments and the relevant industries.
  • Ensure sufficient stock availability of the right products through a systematic sales forecasting in close alignment with the Operations Department.
  • Keep up to date with all internal and external product news and ensure that all relevant information is passed on to all stakeholders in alignment with the product trainers.

 

 

Solutions / Sales Specialist (m/f)

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Contributing to the overall sales growth of the subsidiary
  • Achieving the monthly and annual sales budgets for your assigned target group
  • Establishing new businesses and expanding the loyal customer base
  • Organizing customer-centric activities by conducting presentations, consultations, product demonstrations, service visits, and other related sales building tasks
  • Developing customer relationships by acting as the customers’ business partner, providing recommendations and solutions related to their tasks and requirements
  • Identifying the market potential and opportunities in your assigned target group and making the necessary recommendations to the management 
  • Working independently with support from your manager if required

 

Qualifications:

  • Ideally you should hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma
  • You have at least 5 years sales experience  An extensive network of industry contacts is a definite advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • You have a strong hands-on personality and willing to take on a wide-range of tasks
  • You are willing to adapt your working hours to your customers’ availability
  • You must be a consultative partner of your customer, offering overall solutions rather than just focusing on products

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Represent our company, with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings
  • Contributes to the overall sales growth of the organization
  • Achieves monthly and annual sales targets and activity quota according to the assigned target group industry.
  • Conducts presentations, consultations, product demonstrations and other related sales building tasks.
  • Establishes new businesses and commits to customer service by building relationships.
  • Maximizes the sales performance by establishing strong relationships, gaining insight to the needs of the client and becoming the client’s business partner.
  • Provides recommendations and solutions related to the client’s requirements.
  • Perform incisive and insightful market and competitive research and iidentifies the market potential and opportunities in the assigned target group.

 

EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERTISE, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE

  • Preferrably a bachelor's degree of any business or engineering related course.
  • Significant work experience in sales within the same industry is a plus.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
