Cancellation policy

Consumer Rights
Please note, the following information only applies to orders from our OnlineShop website. Products purchased elsewhere should be returned directly to the retailer from which they were originally purchased.

You may cancel an order at any time within 7 working days, beginning on the day after you receive the Products. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the Products in accordance with our refunds policy (below).

To cancel an order, you must inform us directly by calling 011 657 7300 or in writing at customercareza@karcher.com. You must also return the Products (unless it is a detergent or chemical) to us as soon as reasonably practicable after informing us of the cancellation, and at your own cost.

You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation. You will not have any right to cancel an order for detergents or chemicals if the container seal has been broken or tampered with.

This provision does not affect your other statutory rights as a consumer.

Webshop Returns Conditions:

The return policy for Kärcher South Africa online purchases only refers to below conditions: 

  • Damaged goods in transit
  • 7 day cooling off period according to consumer protection act
  • Missing parts in box
  • Incomplete order
  • Any other product defects
  • Out of box failure

RETURNS PROCESS:

Customer’s will need to contact the Webshop Administrator to arrange a return at webshop.za@karcher.com

The following information should accompany the return:

  • Reason for return
  • 6 digit serial number

Returns need to be logged within 7 days of the purchase date.

Refunds will be processed within 7 working days.

Upon customer acceptance of the collection cost, collection of goods will be arranged via email with the current courier partner. 

Customer will be informed of the collection date. 

Goods will be inspected by Kärcher HQ before any refund is offered to the customer.

Customers banking details will be requested on a valid bank letterhead, if a refund is applicable.

COLLECTION & DELIVERY:


Customers will be given the option to return the product/s themselves or arrange a collection through us.

An approved refund/ exchange as a result of factory faults or warranty will forfeit paying collection fees. 

In the event that customers would like to return/ exchange product/s for whatever reason other than point b. he/she will be liable for the fees associated with the collection. In this instance the original delivery fee and/or collection fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
