1. Organiser

This competition is organised by Kärcher (Pty) Ltd. South Africa (“Kärcher”), 2 North Rand Road,
Hughes Ext 72, Boksburg, Gauteng, 1459.


2. Competition Overview


Kärcher is hosting the “Rate & Review – FC 8 Smart Signature Line” competition linked to live
demonstrations at Leroy Merlin. By submitting a valid rating and review of the FC 8 on the official
Kärcher South Africa website, participants stand a chance to win the Kärcher FC 8 Smart Signature
Line Floor Cleaner — the same demonstration unit showcased at Leroy Merlin during the event.

3. How to Enter

  • Visit the Stand a chance to win a FC 8 Signature Floor Cleaner landing page: https://www.kaercher.com/za/stand-a-chance-to-win-a-fc-8-signature-floor-cleaner.html
  • Fill in the sign up form and submit to enter.
  • Only one entry per person will be considered during the competition period.

4. Eligibility

  • Participants must be 18 years or older.
  • Participants must be residents of South Africa.
  • Employees of Kärcher South Africa, Alfred Kärcher GmbH & Co. KG, and their agencies are not
    eligible.

5. Competition Period

The competition runs from 08 November 2025 to 09 November 2025. Entries received outside this period will not be considered.


6. Prize Details

  • Grand Prize: One Kärcher FC 8 Smart Signature Line Floor Cleaner — the same demonstration
    unit showcased at Leroy Merlin during the event.
  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.
  • Any taxes, fees, or charges related to the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
  • In the event of a breach of these terms, Kärcher may withdraw or reclaim the prize.

7. Winner Selection and Notification

  • The winner will be selected from all valid entries received during the competition period.
  • The winner will be notified via email within five (5) business days after the competition ends.
  • If the winner cannot be reached or fails to respond within seven (7) days of notification, Kärcher
    may select an alternative winner.
  • By accepting the prize, the winner consents to Kärcher publishing their name on the Kärcher
    South Africa website and official social media pages.

8. Disqualification

Kärcher may disqualify any participant who breaches these terms, interferes with or attempts to
manipulate the entry process or outcome, or submits false, misleading, or inappropriate content.


9. Website Availability

While reasonable efforts are made to maintain the competition platform, Kärcher does not guarantee
uninterrupted availability. The competition may be suspended or terminated due to external technical
issues, legal constraints, or other circumstances beyond Kärcher’s control. No claims shall arise
against Kärcher in such cases.


10. Indemnity

All entrants and the winner indemnify Kärcher, its directors, agents, affiliates, suppliers, and partners
against any claims, losses, or damages arising from participation in this competition or use of the
prize, except to the extent caused by Kärcher’s gross negligence or wilful misconduct.


11. Privacy and POPIA


Kärcher (Pty) Ltd. respects your privacy and complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act,
2013 (POPIA). Personal information collected will be used only for administering the competition and
prize fulfilment. Participants may request deletion of their data or withdrawal from the competition at
any time by emailing marketing.za@karcher.com with the subject line “Rate & Review – FC 8”. For

12. Right to Amend

Kärcher reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate these terms at any time, provided such
changes do not unfairly prejudice participants.
