What is Thank Your Cleaner Day?
Every day, tens of thousands of skilled, hard-working cleaning staff are onsite to ensure our working and living environments are ready to go for the next business day. Cleaners work day, night and weekends and often outside of normal working hours to maintain clean, safe and hygienic environments for many Australians.
Hygienically clean environments contribute significantly to the overall health and wellbeing of everyone in our communities, and help generate a positive image for individual businesses. Whether it is childcare centres, hospitals, healthcare facilities, schools, airports, shopping centres or offices, cleaners play an important role in keeping these spaces clean and hygienic.

Get Involved As A Business / Contract Cleaning Business
If you are a business or cleaning contractor that wants to say a big thank you to the cleaners that help to ensure that your business keeps running smoothly then there are several ways that you can get involved.

• Send a thank-you email to all your cleaners
• Make a post on your social media
• Put up posters around the office
Get involved as a school or community group
If you are a school or community group wanting to show your appreciation to the cleaners here are a number of suggestions!
