Kärcher offers interested employees the opportunity to spend longer periods abroad as part of a foreign secondment. Depending on the purpose of the secondment, employees can spend between three months and three years abroad gaining professional experience in an international environment. This type of secondment not only offers employees the chance to expand their expertise, but to develop intercultural skills, which for a globally active company like Kärcher are becoming increasingly important. Of course we will prepare you fully for the specific requirements of your foreign secondment and support you with any challenges that may arise.
We will provide support in the following ways:
- jointly creating an individual development plan.
- intensive preparation for the foreign secondment with language courses and intercultural training.
- preparing for, organising and implementing the necessary steps for the foreign secondment.
- integration support abroad with a mentor on-site, as well as support from a mentor in our head office.
