Are Kärcher Home & Garden products covered by warranty?

Yes.

At Kärcher we test every machine before it leaves the factory and lifetime test every thousandth machine to ensure our products will withstand many years of use, long beyond the expiration of the warranty period.

Alongside our stringent testing, we offer a manufacturer’s warranty on our products.

All Kärcher Home and Garden products (other than accessories and detergents) are warrantied by Kärcher to be free of defects in workmanship and materials for a period of at least 12 months from the date of purchase. See the list below for warranty periods by product category.

Kärcher’s obligation under this warranty shall strictly be limited, at Kärcher’s option, either to replace or repair, through an Authorized Kärcher Sales & Service Distributor, without charge during the warranty period of any part, which in opinion of the manufacturer, shows a defect in workmanship or material.

When does the warranty period start?

The warranty is calculated from the date of purchase by the end user and covers the costs for replacement parts / equipment and warranty labor performed. A valid proof of purchase must be presented at time of warranty claim.

Are there any warranty exclusions?

Our Kärcher Home & Garden warranties exclude:

  • Merchandise sold as reconditioned, used, demonstration or floor models
  • Merchandise purchased through unauthorized sellers on eBay and other online auction web sites
  • Merchandise purchased through unauthorized third-party sellers
  • Defects by misuse, neglect, accident, abuse, improper handling, freezing, non-compliance with user or operator’s manual
  • Normal wear and tear on components, accessories and attachments
  • Defects caused by water sediment, contaminated water supply or use of chemicals and detergents not recommended by Kärcher
  • Defects cause by nature, such as floods, fires, earthquakes, lighting strikes, etc.
  • Devices or accessorises not distributed or approved by Kärcher. Any use of such said devices or accessories will void warranty.
  • Repairs or modifications made by the end user or any service organization not authorised by Kärcher.
    • Any such tampering with Kärcher equipment or accessories will void warranty.
  • Defects cause by the use of incorrect supply voltage
  • Any shipping costs incurred by the customer or authorized service center of the defective part or equipment.

This warranty applies only to parts and equipment manufactured by Kärcher.

Equipment provided, but not manufactured by Kärcher are subject to warranties and service through said manufacturer’s service centers, according to the terms and conditions provided by the respective original equipment manufacturer. Kärcher is not authorized and has no responsibility to provide warranty service for such equipment.

This warranty is non-transferrable and applies only to products sold in the USA. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights, which vary by country and state. Please consult each product's specific warranty information for additional exclusions.
