Cleaning works in the context of the complete renovation

Before the Easter holiday, Kärcher cleaned parts of the outer façade of the Church of the Redeemer in Jerusalem using a hot water high-pressure cleaner without cleaning agents or chemical additives. Additionally, test areas for future cleaning work in the context of cultural sponsorship were created.

With a HDS 12/18 in the steam mode without pressure, parts of the façade have been gently freed from old layers of paint, dusts and other layers of dirt for restoration. Once again, this brought out the white limestone (meleke) typical for Jerusalem's architecture.

In the context of the complete renovation of the German Protestant church, Kärcher offered its further support. Propst Wolfgang Schmidt is already looking forward to further cooperation: “We are looking forward to a promising project.” Also, cleaning experts of Kärcher presented the Church of the Redeemer with a wet & dry vacuum cleaner NT 35/1 Tact as a donation. The staff of the church wants to gently remove salt efflorescence from the stone surface in the cloister with it.

The Church of the Redeemer

Built between 1893 and 1898 on the layout of the Crusader Church Santa Maria Latina, the Church of the Redeemer is a German Protestant church in the old town of Jerusalem. Its steeple is an unmistakable part of the city's outline.
